Strengthen the student network working on agroecology & food systems in South East Asia

12 PhD students who are conducting researches on various topics related to agroecology and food system in Cambodia, Laos , Vietnam, and Thailand  have gathered to present their unique studies in 2023's PhD Days. The PhD Days, co-hosted by Agroecology and Safe Food System Transitions (ASSET) Project, Agroecology in Southeast Asia (ASEA), and Market and Agricultural Linking Chains in Asia (Malica), aims to present and discuss the remarkable diversity of subjects and disciplinary approaches and to strengthen the student network working on agroecology & food systems in South East Asia.Soil health, crop health, farming system design, intervention mechanisms, and the food system and market are discussed throughout the conference. This going on gathering highlights the importance of context-specific concepts in sustainable agriculture by providing a forum for information sharing, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.
