Specific objectives are to contribute to:

• The design and assessment of innovative farming systems that integrate multifunctional plant species, mobilize ecological processes and genotype × environment interactions
• The development of participatory and territorial approaches that places agroecological transition at the center of multi-stakeholder negotiations on land and natural resource management,
• The reinforcement of education and training programs, and the design of capacity building strategies to empower smallholder farmers, local service providers, scientists, agronomists, and development operators,
• The provision of strategic elements to national and ASEAN policymakers for identifying and implementing intervention mechanisms to support the large-scale adoption of agro-ecological production systems.
