Partnership

ASEA Research & Training Platform in Partnership has been introduced and activated since 2020 with involvement of many organizations and institutions in different countries. By signing the MOU in this September 2021, the consortium of ASEA Research & Training Platform in Partnership officially established, including 13 member institutes:

  The Department of Agriculture Land Management (DALaM) – Laos
  The Department of Agricultural Land Resources Management (DALRM) - Cambodia
  The Institute of Research for Development (IRD) – France
  The Kasetsart University (KU) – Thailand
  The National Institute of Animal Sciences (NIAS) – Vietnam
  The Northern Mountainous Agriculture and Forestry Science Institute (NOMAFSI) – Vietnam
 

The Center of Excellence on Sustainable Agricultural Intensification and Nutrition (CE SAIN) of Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) – Cambodia

In the MOU, those members are committed to put their efforts in finding ways to work together on Agroecology in South-East Asia, specifically in the countries of the Greater Mekong sub-region (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and China). And members will actively seek external funds to develop joint research activities (see more HERE). The ASEA Research & Training Platform in Partnership will organize meetings, workshops and trainings to its members with focus on scientific activities and projects on research areas of the platform (see more HERE).
